Welcome to
Eastcott Barn
For a number of years Eastcott Barn offered a place of retreat and time out from everyday pressures. A refuge for rest, relaxation and renewal.
Eastcott Barn is part of a family community set in the small village of Sheldon in the Blackdown Hills, Devon. In 2017 circumstances led to our needing to move our family around to different houses in the complex and I moved next door to The Lodge where my Mother had lived. Since then I have been extending The Lodge to create a new retreat. Limited in the residential space now offered but compensated by a spacious group/therapy room and a large kitchen where meals can be shared as at Eastcott Barn.
"Eastcott Barn at The Lodge" can now once again offer 1-1 individual therapy, Gong Baths, Groups and other activities that encourage health and healing. These centre around relaxation, the beauty of the surrounding countryside and the opportunity to take time for reflection in a supportive atmosphere.
As a Psychotherapist, accredited with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, I also integrate other trainings including Medical Qigong, Sound Therapy and Ecotherapy with a deep interest in healing. One of my daughters runs "Gym and Tonic" at Eastcott Barn, where she offers Personal Training and Circuit sessions.
The Blackdown Hills are a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Eastcott Barn and The Lodge have 12 acres of woodland and fields, where deer, badgers, foxes, owls and buzzards make their homes.
