Winter Gathering 2016 Programme

A programme for the coming weekend has/is emerging - as it always does!

Thank you so much to everyone who has offered, said they would come or plan to come.

The times are approximate but give a rough guide to what's happening when.

Satuday 26th Nov 2016

During the morning there will be time for conversations and coffee (or tea of course), setting out the Labyrinth and healing sessions, with thanks to:

Lesley Rogan for Reiki Healing

Ali Lloyd-Jones for Cosmic Healing

Clare Viner for Reflexology

Sue Edwards for Reconnective Healing

There is limited availability as I want the Healers to also have their own time, so if there is something you feel particularly drawn to, let me or the person know asap.

Shared lunch together

Saturday afternoon, two talks:

Approx 2.30pm Kerry Ann will give a short talk about her connection and work with a charity in Malawi. For those who know Sagara, it will be a particular pleasure to meet his special friend Kerry Ann.

Approx 3.00pm Gordon Field will  fascinate us once again, as he talks about his latest work resulting from dousing and subsequent connection to Trees.

Approx 4.30pm Soup,tea, cakes etc

The evening will start at about 6 - 6.30ish with another special Labyrinth walk, devised by Sagara - but please could he have lots of help with setting it up - so many small pieces of white card to set out in the spiral.

This will be followed by music and the beautiful singing/chanting of Rachel to her Indian instruments - and probably joined by David on (one of )his guitars. Their spontaneous offering last year was so special.

If anyone else would like to bring instruments/voices and join in, you would be welcomed.

Sunday 27th November.

10.30am Cassandra will be offering a session of Kundalini Yoga. This will be followed immediately by a short Gong Bath of about 15minutes. We are very fortunate in Sheldon as when our Yoga teacher of 10 great  years, left the village, we were able to find Cassandra who had recently moved to the area from South Africa. She has taken on the teaching in our Yoga group and brings a very special spiritual element.

Approx 11.45 A slide show with Sagara - his Forest Garden and Buddhafield experiences. Sagara has formed part of the backbone of previous Winter Gatherings and is always an inspiration to listen to.

Shared Lunch

Approx 2.30pm Biodanza in the gym with Jill Goodwin. Jill runs regular Biodanza groups in the Blackdown and Taunton areas. It is a treat to have Jill offering a session once again at the Winter Gathering.

Followed by "Connection and Laughter" with Freya Hartley, who felt that.the world needs a bit more of both at the moment.

And then Shamanic drumming with Karen Stead-Dexter. Many people will know Karen who runs many spiritual, esoteric and healing groups and activities in the area. Her drumming session at last year's Winter Gathering was another very special event.

At some point towards the end of the afternoon, we will share something to eat/drink and then see what happens in the evening. If it feels appropriate I could do a Gong Bath or maybe we will make music in some other way.

I look forward to seeing as many who are able to come as possible. Please park as neatly as you are able, in the drive or orchard area if there is room but if on the road, make sure it is safe for passing traffic.

Another year, another Winter Gathering around the fire!
