Eastcott Barn offers a place of retreat and time out from everyday pressures. A refuge for rest ,relaxation and renewal. Set in the  small village of Sheldon in the Blackdown Hills, Devon, our aim is to provide a safe and comfortable setting for individuals to take space for  themselves and to be cared for. 

A range of activities that encourage health and healing are available. These centre around relaxation, the beauty of the surrounding countryside and the opportunity to take time for reflection in a supportive atmosphere.

Apart from comfort and good food, we are able to offer a range of therapies which include Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Fitness Training. Eastcott Barn is family run, under the auspices of Jennifer Ash, a Psychotherapist, accredited with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and  a Medical Qigong practitioner with a deep interest in healing.

The Blackdown Hills are a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Eastcott Barn itself has 11 acres of woodland and fields, where deer, badgers, foxes, owls and buzzards make their homes. Footpaths, horse riding and fishing are all available without having to use a car. 

We only cater for small numbers, in order to offer people their own space and individual attention where needed. Food is home produced or locally sourced as far as possible.
